How to Become a Shareholder
Becoming a shareholder is simple, secure, and completed entirely online through the EquityHub Partners Shareholder Portal. Every listed partner company has its own website where you can learn about the business before applying. When you are ready, simply click Buy Shares to begin your shareholder application.

Step 1 – Learn About the Company
Browse our listed partner companies and click Website to visit the company you are interested in. On each company website you can:
- Learn about the company's operations.
- Understand its products and services.
- View the share price.
- Review shareholder information.
- Decide whether you would like to become a shareholder.

Step 2 – Click "Buy Shares"
Once you have reviewed the company information and are ready to apply, click Buy Shares. You will automatically be redirected to the EquityHub Partners Shareholder Portal to complete your online Shareholder Application.

Step 3 – Complete the Online Shareholder Application
Complete the Shareholder Application Form by providing:
- Personal details
- Contact information
- Residential address
- Share purchase details
- Beneficiary details

Step 4 – Review Legal Documents and Upload Supporting Documents
Before submitting your application, please read and accept the following legal documents:
- Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
- Shareholder Agreement
- Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
- Certified Copy of your South African ID or Passport
- Proof of Residential Address (not older than 3 months)
- Proof of Bank Account or Bank Confirmation Letter
- Beneficiary ID Copy (for beneficiaries aged 18 years and older)
- Beneficiary Birth Certificate (for beneficiaries under the age of 18)
Please ensure that all uploaded documents are clear, valid, and legible. Once all required information and supporting documents have been uploaded, click Submit Application.

Step 5 – Receive Your Shareholder Reference Number
After submitting your application, the system will automatically:
- Generate a unique Shareholder Reference Number.
- Save your application securely in the EquityHub Partners database.
- Notify the EquityHub Partners Administration Team.
- Send you a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your application together with your Shareholder Reference Number.
Your Shareholder Reference Number is your unique application identifier and must be used for all future communication, payment tracking, and shareholder enquiries.

Step 6 – Make Your Payment
Using your Shareholder Reference Number, choose your preferred payment method:
- Secure Online Payment
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
- Cash Deposit
Always use your Shareholder Reference Number as your payment reference so your payment is correctly matched to your shareholder application. Once payment is received, your application proceeds to the verification stage.

Step 7 – Application Review and Share Allocation
The EquityHub Partners Administration Team will:
- Verify your application.
- Verify your supporting documents.
- Confirm receipt of your payment.
- Approve your shareholder registration.
- Allocate your shares.
- Register you as an official shareholder.
- Issue your Share Certificate.
- Send your Shareholder Welcome Pack and confirmation of ownership.
All EquityHub Partners partner company websites are connected to one secure Shareholder Portal. This allows you to learn about each company on its own website while completing a single, secure, and standardized shareholder application through EquityHub Partners.
Your Shareholder Reference Number allows you to track your application throughout every stage of the process — from application submission and payment to verification, share allocation, shareholder registration, and the issuance of your Share Certificate — providing a professional, transparent, and secure shareholder experience.
Note: If R1,036 is intended to be a fixed or guaranteed payout, you should ensure that any such claim complies with South African financial services, securities, and consumer protection regulations, and that it is supported by your offering documents. Presenting it as a projected or anticipated distribution is generally a more appropriate approach unless a legally guaranteed entitlement exists.
